Executive Branch
Student Body President
Student Body President is Azwad K. Zahraan
The Student Body President serves as the Chief Executive of the Associated Students of Emporia State University. The main goal of the President is to represent the concerns of the Associated Students to the Senate, the university administration, and the Kansas Board of Regents. The Student Body President is elected by the student body of Emporia State University and serves a one-year term.
Student Body Vice President
Student Body Vice President is Joshua Manahan
The Student Body Vice President works alongside the Student Body President and serves as the President of the Student Senate. The Vice President serves as the official representative of the student body in the absence of the Student Body President. The Vice President is elected with the President and also serves a one-year term.

Chief of Staff
Chief of Staff is Jackson Porras
The Chief of Staff serves as the administrative assistant to Associated Student Government. Chief of Staff takes roll and minutes at all Student Senate meetings and publishes minutes for the Student Body. They also are responsible for sending out legislation and meeting agendas for all Senate meetings. They coordinate Senator office hours and update ASG social media regularly as well. Chief of Staff serves as a non-voting member of Cabinet and helps direct questions to appropriate members of ASG.
Public Relations Director

The Public Relations Director serves as the primary liaison between Associated Student Government and the student body by overseeing marketing, branding, and communications efforts. They are responsible for promoting ASG initiatives and events through strategic marketing campaigns, creating and distributing promotional materials, and maintaining a consistent and professional brand image. The Public Relations Director manages and monitors all official ASG social media accounts, develops engaging content, tracks analytics to measure outreach effectiveness, and ensures timely communication about Senate meetings, programs, and student involvement opportunities. At the end of each academic year, they compile a comprehensive Public Relations Summary highlighting marketing efforts, event promotions, and overall audience engagement.
Business Affairs Director
Business Affairs Director is Manuel Mora
The Business Affairs Director serves as the treasurer for Associated Student Government. They work with Recognized Student Organizations in the planning and policies regarding allocations, manage the monetary funds available to ASG, and prepare regular reports of organizations to ASG. The Business Affairs Director also serves as an ex-officio member of the ASG Fiscal Affairs Committee and serves as a student representative on the Tuition and Fees Advisory Committee.
Election Commissioner

The Election Commissioner oversees the elections of President, Vice President, and Senatorial candidates. They are in charge of distributing election regulations to candidates; making sure candidates uphold these regulations; administering fines when/if regulations are violated; helping to publicize elections and candidate forums; coordinating polling locations and times during elections; encouraging all students to vote during the week of elections; and certifying the results once the election has concluded.
Speaker of the Senate
Speaker of the Senate is Sasha Joy
The Speaker of the Senate serves as the chief presiding officer of the Senate and acts as the primary point of communication between the student body and Associated Student Government. They are responsible for keeping accurate records of concerns, questions, and feedback from students at large and ensuring that this information is effectively communicated to the appropriate senators, committees, or executive officers. The Speaker oversees Senate meetings, maintains order and parliamentary procedure, and ensures clear and consistent communication within the organization. Additionally, they track and organize all official correspondence related to student input and provide regular updates to the Senate to ensure transparency and accountability throughout the academic year.
Judicial Branch
Chief Justice
Chief Justice is Jackson Cunningham,
The Chief Justice serves as the head of the Judicial Branch of Associated Student Government and is responsible for ensuring due process and fair, impartial hearings in all judicial matters. They oversee all proceedings, interpret governing documents, and ensure that all cases are handled in accordance with the constitution and bylaws. The Chief Justice determines appropriate sanctions when violations occur and is responsible for carrying out and enforcing all judicial decisions. They also maintain official records of proceedings and ensure transparency, consistency, and accountability within the judicial process throughout the academic year.
Supreme Justices:
Supreme Justices serve on the Judicial Branch and are responsible for reviewing cases brought before the court, participating in hearings, and evaluating evidence and testimony presented. They collaborate to interpret governing documents and deliberate on appropriate outcomes for each case. Supreme Justices vote on decisions and sanctions, ensuring that all rulings are fair, consistent, and aligned with the constitution and bylaws. Through thoughtful discussion and impartial judgment, they uphold the integrity of the judicial process within Associated Student Government.
