Please make sure you have also submitted a resume to the Graduate School. There is no need to complete a graduate assistantship application more than once per semester.

Before an applicant can be considered for a graduate assistantship, an Application for Admission to Graduate Study must have been received by the Graduate School.

NOTICE TO INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS: In addition to the English Proficiency requirement of a 550 TOEFL score, international graduate teaching assistants must present a score of at least 50 on the TSE (Test of Spoken English) Exam, or a score of 250 on the SPEAK (Speaking Proficiency English Assessment Kit) exam, or a minimum score of 22 on the speaking section of the TOEFL IBT (Test of English as a Foreign Language Internet Based Test), and pass an oral exam administered by three faculty members and one student prior to being granted a teaching assistantship.
